Matt Jones is a lighting and production designer, lighting director and grandMA3 programmer based in Melbourne and working worldwide. His work spans international concert touring, live music, television broadcast, corporate productions and special events.
Matt works with artists, lighting designers and production teams on creative design, console programming and show operation. His experience includes lighting direction for Ed Sheeran’s Divide and Mathematics World Tours, combining detailed programming with the practical demands of delivering shows across different venues.
His touring work includes serving as Lighting Director for Ed Sheeran’s Divide World Tour (2017–2019) and Mathematics Tour (2022–2023). He also served as Lighting Director and Operator for the State Memorial of Michael Gudinski AM on 24 March 2021.
